Birth and Origins:
Born 25 years ago to Amakoji Karei (Mother) and Uzari Daiki (Father), Daichi was originally known by the surname Uzari. As an unknowing carrier of the Uchiha gene, Karei, an non-shinobi, held within her the DNA which would shape her son’s life. Daiki on the other hand was a mediocre Jounin for Konoha. From an early age Daichi’s parents ere active in his life, giving him all the love and attention a young child deserves. However, at the age of 3 tragedy struck the village in the form of the 5-Tailed Bijuu. For weeks the city held back the attacks, though at the cost of many shinobi and civilians. Among the dead lay Daichi’s father who gave his life to protect his family and home. But his death was not in vain as the village was able to push back the creature into the wild. Over the next 2 years Daichi as raised by not only his mother, but also a network of other caring citizens who had come together to help those in need. At the age of 5, he was admitted to the Konoha Ninja Academy. For another year, the young child excelled at every task presented to him. As such, his instructors saw fit to release him into the ninja world at the ripe age of 6.
Young Ninja Life:
As a young boy, looking to prove himself, Dai took as many missions and jobs as he could manage. Not only did this serve his purpose of furthering himself, but also provided his mother with some much needed financial reprieve. For 2 years the boy strove for excellence utilizing as much of the time he had for training. As always, the boy progressed at an almost alarming rate, creating his very first original jutsu only after a year after his promotion. Though it was not much, the young shinobi continued to press on, relentless in his drive. For another year Dai grew in strength, taking on harder and harder missions as time progressed. Upon the age of 8, the Hokage promoted Daichi to Chuunin. Due to the nature of the times, Dai bypassed the traditional Chuunin exams, which had been on hold for some time. These were restless times and the tensions between villages made the need for soldiers far more important than some tradition. Over the next 2 years Dai progressed rapidly, utilizing his youthful appearance in missions to deceive the enemy. Over time this developed into a unique skill which as not over-looked by the Leaf high-ups, primarily with the ANBU ROOT organization. At the time the shadowy group was led by a man named Tamiko Ikumo ho paid particular attention. Watching his progress as a chuunin, Ikumo soon made the decision to enlist him in the ANBU Black Ops.
ANBU Life:
Several months after his 10th birthday Dai began his first mission for ROOT. In the tradition of the organization, the young shinobi took a posting as a spy in a foreign land. For Daichi this meant the Village Hidden in the Clouds. Over the next 3 years the young Uchiha distanced himself from everything and everyone he loved and cared about. This was not done out of spite or malice, but rather love for those he cares about. The best way to protect them, was to compartmentalize those emotions. For these years in Kumo to be effective, it required a very delicate touch. However, Daichi proved just the person for the job successfully gaining intelligence in Kumo tactics, training, and which Bijuu they possessed. However, on of Dai’s teammates was caught and tortured, eventually revealing several names before death. As such, the young shinobi was forced to flee Kumo, barely managing to escape to Sungakure no Sato before discovery. Under a new name the now 13 year old boy took up a post as a teaching assistant at the village’s academy. The thought as, if a spy could be placed in an influential position amongst children, then a subliminal message of peace could be implanted in them. Perhaps a subconscious desire to remain at peace with Konoha as they grew into the future leaders. So for the new two years Dai taught the student of the Sand Village until one day a correspondence came.
Death and Discovery:
After reading the letter delivered to him, Daichi dropped all to return home to Konoha. News had come of his mother’s illness, and it seemed that in his absence her condition had worsened. After several days he made it back home, only to find out his mother had passed before he could arrive. Stricken by sickening sadness the young man unknowingly activated the first tomoe of his Sharingan. Unaware of what he possessed, the boy sought answers from Ikumo who unraveled a small portion of the Uchiha’s history. As one would imagine, this was not enough for a vivacious person such as Daichi and this only spurned his interest in his “true” history. The day after his mother’s funeral the young man left Konoha without warning to look for answers. For two years Dai traveled around the Five Great Nations searching for information; piecing together bits and pieces everywhere he went. He also spent his time training, perfecting his techniques, though his mastery of the Sharingan still remained unchanged. However, at the age of 18 he discovered the final clue. Hidden beneath years of growth and neglect the long since destroyed Uchiha Hideout housed the secret he had spent years searching for. It was at this time he discovered the true nature of the Sharingan, learned of something called the Mangekyo Sharingan, and finally found the missing history of the Uchiha’s. It is at this point of hopelessness that his second tomoe is activated; when he decides to abandon Konoha in search of power and eventual retribution. Continuing his self-proclaimed exile, Daichi lived in the hideout for another year, training daily. Over the next year he grew in strength eventually feeling confident enough to take on the 5-Tails. However, his confidence was ultimately his downfall as the Bijuu’s power proved to be too much. The only thing that managed to save him was the activation of his third tomoe, under fear of his death.
Akatsuki:
Taking several months to recover from his attack, Daichi formulated a new plan. He spent his time in hiding living on the outskirts of Kirigakure. Most days he used his time, pouring through books in search of any information that would give him insight into the minds and techniques of powerful shinobi in history. His interest was primarily peaked when he met a young girl named Inazuma in the archives of Kirigakure. They discussed her cloak and why she wore the colors of such a terrible enemy, only for him to discover they were not originally the monsters that Tobi had eventually shaped them to be. So after several more months, exchanging information with the young teen, the now 21 year old Daichi set out to start his on organization under the original directive of the Akatsuki. The first member to join was a Missing-Nin originally from Iwagakure named Naka Ikaru. They had met on several occasions during mercenary missions they had taken, though purely by coincidence. As the closest thing to a friend Ikaru was the obvious choice. Over the next year the two trained and bonded in their pursuit for strength. With a partner he could trust, Daichi finally decided to once again attempt an assault on the 5-Tails. With renewed power and an almost equal ally they easily defeated and sealed the Bijuu with the young Uchiha, finally giving him the retribution he so longed for. However, all was not well as news of the group’s successful capture spread. It was not long before the ANBU ROOT organization made an attempt on the two’s life. Barely managing to escape Daichi and Ikaru went further into exile, spending the next 3 years plotting their revenge. It was after those three years, at the age of 25 that the two finally felt confident enough to set out, that the ne Akatsuki was formed. It was also at this time that the young Uchiha murdered his best friend, finally gaining the Mangekyo Sharingan. He now has collected two more allies in his quest; the Akatsuki is growing…
Roleplay Sample: Took this from another site I RP at for my Ina charcter. - Spoiler:
A small bell rangabove as Inazuma walked through the entrance of a small shop. She shook the rain from her cloak as she stood in the foyer, the rain bouncing away from her. “I’m here for the delivery” She poke plainly. A middle-aged man dusting shelves to the left looked up from his work and adjusted his glasses up his face. “Ah yes,” he replied, “let me go grab it from the back.” The man then disappeared into the back of the shop, emerging moments later with a wooden crate roughly 4’ in height, 3’ wide, and 3’ long. Attached to the box, were two canvas straps extending down the length of the box on the opposite sides, used to carry like a back pack. “Here they are,” said the salesman, “Be sure nothing happens to them, or they will be charged to you.”
Ina sighed as she bent to put on the pack. Crouching with her back turned towards it, she slipped her hands and arms though the fastenings. As she stood, she could feel the weight of the weapons shift around, causing her to stumble slightly. Without another word she opened the shop door and walked out, bell once again jingling in return. It was raining again in the village. Inazuma pulled the hood of her cloak over her head as she stood under the shops extended roof as she began to slowly walk forward. “It was going to be a long trip,” she thought, “might as well take it easy.” As the young shinobi walked through town, she could already feel the strap cutting into her shoulders. She adjusted the weight distribution trying to offset the balance onto her back, causing her to hunch forward. As she did so, she felt the metal she was carrying suddenly rush forward. The sudden rush of force caught her off guard and she hit a knee I mud, grunting slightly. “Damn!” she cursed. This would simply not cut it. Inazuma pushed herself upright, thinking as she did so. She took a handful of the cloak several inches below the shoulder on the right arm. She folded the fabric several times making a thick cushion out of it. Lifting the strap from her right shoulder, Ina placed the now formed pillow under the fastening. Repeating the process on her opposite shoulder, she not felt tremendously better. He fingers, now exposed, felt the trickle of the rain as it ran from her clothing and fell towards the ground. “I suppose if this is the worst it’s going to be, it should be smooth sailing from her.” She thought aloud.
With that, Ina proceeded down the street, making a right at the fork ahead. As she passed the many people on the street that day she smiled meekly, not truly interested in being friendly. Today she was feeling apathetic, disinterested to everything around her. Truthfully, it would have been nice to stay at home, sleep in, and most importantly stay dry. In a village like Kirigakure, where being damp is the norm, it’s is rare to have a day where you can avoid the elements. She sighed once again, tired already of the task that lie ahead. Staring at the clouds she wondered what it must be like to be truly free. To be able to have the power to make your own decisions and stick to them by any means necessary. I mean sure, she had the ability to do what she desired whenever she felt, but the key was the power... The power to be able to defend one’s self, no matter what their cause might be… For Ina, that meant only one thing; the destruction of the skyscraper village to rebuild Amegakure to it’s former glory. Having lost herself in thought, Inazuma no found herself passing the village gates. She shook her head hoping it might help wake her up. She had been in stupor ever since she had finished her training with Namiko. Pressing onward, the young ninja walked through the gates at the west end of the village.
After walking for a half hour, Inazuma began to see the outline of the docks off the island. She continued to press forward as the small buildings came clearer in to view. As she approached the dock she saw a small ferry which would be used to take her across the sea to fire country. Continuing down the dock she heard a voice call out from within the boat, “You must be the delivery girl? Please, come aboard… I apologize for the mess, but this was so last minute. If you’d like you may make yourself comfortable down below, there are sleeping quarters to the right and a bath down the hall to the left. If you should need anything, I will be up here and my name is Raito.” Nodding her acknowledgment Ina made her way unto the boat, the wood creaking beneath her feet. She proceed down the cramped staircase, through the a tight hall with peeling paper on the walls. Struggling to fit as she turned, Ina finally made her way into the sleeping room with her large crate. She was quick to take of the box, setting it down with a gruff in the corner. She sat there on the ground, arms still through the straps, resting against the crate. She closed her eyes for a moment trying to catch her breath. She felt the gently sway of the ferry beneath her like laying on a bed made of water. Unbeknownst to the young shinobi, she was already drifting off.
A wave crashed against the ship, awakening Inazuma with a startle. She sat upright, catching on the straps, yanking herself back against her delivery. Her head hit with a thud and she groaned slightly at the surprise of it all. Replacing the shoulder cushions she had made earlier, she proceeded to return the straps to their original positions. Ina stood, sighing once again. She rubbed her eyes and ran her fingers through her bangs, brushing them aside from her face. She reached the doorway to the room and made a right towards the staircase. As she walked up, she felt a ray of warmth hit her face. “We must be getting close,” she said aloud. Continuing up the stairs her face and body were met with the brilliant sunshine, which after living in rainy conditions so long, still caught her off guard. It looked like she had woken just in time. As she peered over the bow of the ship, she could see they were not 100 yards off the coast of Fire Country. Ina stood there admiring the beauty off the ocean as the boat drifted towards the shore. Docking moments later, Ina waited impatiently picking at her nails. As she disembarked, she thank the ferryman for his service, and made her way down the docks. As she walked away from the coastline further into the heart of Fire Country she thought to herself, “Perhaps a little training to get me there quicker.”
With that, the young shinobi bolted off into the woods. She focused a small amount of chakra onto her feet to help increase speed and footing. As Ina tore down the road, she began to feel the weight of the tools wearing on her legs. She had always love/hated that burning sensation. Knowing she was getting stronger had always been a draw towards physical strain, but the pain itself was troublesome. Inazuma continued this way for another 1, until coming onto the forest that surrounded the ninja village of Konoha. “Now for the fun part,” she thought. Concentrating more chakra onto her feet, she firmly planted her left leg and pushed off. As she flew through the air she watched above her, arms outstretched towards the trees. Her hands caught a branch about 10’ above the ground and she pushed her body forward with the moment, rotating herself up the front of the tree. As she approached an almost horizontal position she pushed from the tree, kicking her legs forward. Her crate nicked the branch as it passed, leaving a small gash in its skin. As she dropped, her left leg caught a branch a couple feet below. From there she began to bound branch to branch occasionally swinging from limb to limb. Another half hour later she was approaching the gates of Konohagakure. Nearing the city she returned to the road again, gracefully jumping down from the trees above. At the gate she was stopped by a smug young jonin, “Ahhh… Deliveries, I remember those days. What a drag, am I right?” Inazuma simply scoffed as she produced her ninja identification papers from her cloak. After reviewing them the guard ushered her into the city. “Have Fun!” he added as she walked away. “Ass…” thought Inazuma. Returning to her previous pace, the young ninja raced through the crowded streets, tools rocking from side to side behind her. She was eager to be done with this simple mission… Eager to get back to training so that she might be challenged next time… Following the signs towards the village’s ninja shop, the young girl was beginning to sweat, hot under the relentless sun. She turned the corner and she saw the store’s sign near the end of the street. “Thank you!” she exclaimed! With only 100 feet between her and some ramen, she had nothing left to lose. She pushed onwards, legs pulsating beneath her. It was almost as if she could feel the blood itself pounding against her muscles like a punching bag.
She slowed to a walk as she neared the building, slowly approaching the doors. As her hand touched the knob, she inhaled and exhaled and went inside. “I have the delivery for you,” she stated towards a kindly looking older woman. “Thank you so much,” she replied, “My bones are not what they used to be and I simply cannot make the trip to your village anymore. It is a shame too, because you folks make the finest blades I have ever seen. No surprise though for a city renown for the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist. Anyways, I’m sure you’ll be wanting to go rest now, before your long journey home. Please just set the box in the corner.” The shopkeeper pointed to the right of Ina, and pleased by her quaint nature and sweet demeanor the young shinobi was happy to oblige. “Thank you again,” the shopkeeper spoke as Ina lay down the crate. “My pleasure,” replied the chunnin as she approached the door once again. “Have a nice day,” she added meekly as she closed it behind her.
